In an independent research project, a random sample of all clients of the bank was invited to participate in academic surveys, which are conducted to gain deeper insights into the decision making process of private households. The resulting data is only available to researchers (not to the bank or the advisors). Overall, we are able to match survey and protocol data for up to 485 clients (1,342 recommendations), depending on the survey questions under consideration.
